Focus On Housing

Addressing homelessness has become a key pillar of Focus Reentry’s program. As a member of the One Home system, Focus Reentry staff members are trained to complete Coordinated Entry assessments on clients. These assessments measure client vulnerability on factors relating to history of homelessness, health conditions, substance use and mental health to dynamically prioritize clients on the community queue. Focus Reentry attends monthly case conferencing, and advocates for their clients on the list. Throughout the housing process, Focus Reentry assists in navigating applications, coordinating housing vouchers, and supporting denial appeals.

Focus Reentry helps clients obtain necessary documents to qualify for housing opportunities like State IDs, Social Security Cards, Birth Certificates, Letter of Benefits, etc. Additionally, we explore affordable housing options in Boulder County and enroll clients in voucher lotteries as they arise.
